Bangladesh batter Tamim Iqbal announces retirement from T20I cricket
Bangladesh ODI captain and most successful opener, Tamim Iqbal has announced his retirement from T20 Internationals, after playing the format for almost 15 years.
The 33-year-old made his T20I debut in September 2017 after which he 78 T20Is for Bangladesh and scored 1,758 runs at a strike rate of 116.96.
His last T20I international match was in March 2020 against Zimbabwe in Mirpur.
