India-Bangladesh Joint Military Exercise SAMPRITI-XI begins in Umroi, Meghalaya

• The 11^th edition of annual joint military exercise between India and Bangladesh, named SAMPRITI began on October 03, 2023 in Umroi, Meghalaya.
• The first edition of this exercise was held in Jorhat, Assam in 2009.
• The 14 days long SAMPRITI-XI will help in enhancing interoperability between the two armies, sharing tactical drills, and promoting best practices.
