India formally hands over G20 Presidency to Brazil
- Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi formally handed over the Presidency of Grouping of 20 (G20) to Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, at the closing ceremony of the Summit on September 10, 2023.
- India took over the presidency of the G20 from Indonesia since December 01, 2022, and will continue to hold the position until November 30, 2023.
