Manipur Guv La. Ganesan takes additional charge as West Bengal Governor
Manipur Governor La. Ganesan has been given the additional responsibility as the Governor of West Bengal.
Mr. Ganesan took the oath as Governor of West Bengal on July 18, 2022 and was administered oath by Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court, Prakash Srivastava.
He replaces former West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, who resigned from the post because he has been nominated for the post of Vice President of India by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
