Ministry of Culture inaugurates 12th edition of Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav 2022 at Rajamahendravaram in Andhra Pradesh

• The Union Minister for Culture , Tourism and DoNER Shri G. K Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Governor Shri Biswabhusan Harichandan inaugurated the 12th edition of the Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav (RSM) 2022 at the Government Art College grounds in Rajahmundry (officially known as Rajamahendravaram), Andhra Pradesh.
• The mega Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav 2022 will place from March 26 to April 03, 2022 in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
• (Rajamundry – March 26 and 27; Warangal – March  29 and 30 and  in  Hyderabad  – April 01 to April 03, 2022).
• The Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav is the flagship festival of the Ministry of Culture.
• The first Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav was organised in 2015.
• The RSM aims to preserve, promote, and popularise the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India.
