PM Modi inaugurates Biplobi Bharat Gallery at Victoria Memorial Hall in Kolkata

• Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated Biplobi Bharat Gallery at Victoria Memorial Hall in Kolkata on March 23, 2022, via video conferencing, on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru.
• The main objective of this new gallery is to highlight the important role played by the Revolutionaries and provide a holistic view of the events which led to India’s independence in 1947.
• Biplobi Bharat Gallery will showcase the birth of the revolutionary movement, formation of significant associations by revolutionary leaders, spread of the movement, formation of Indian National Army, contribution of Naval Mutiny, among others.
