Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky receives Sir Winston Churchill Leadership Award

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been honoured with the Sir Winston Churchill Leadership Award for 2022 from the International Churchill Society, London on July 26, 2022..
Zelenskyy accepted the award through video mode, which was presented by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson .
He received the award for his leadership role during the time of crises following the Russian invasion on Ukraine.
The award is the highest honor of International Churchill Society and is presented to individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership that could be compared to that of Winston Churchill.
The award was first presented in 2006.
Past recipients include Prince Charles, former British Prime Ministers Margaret Thatcher and John Major, and former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
