West Indies Cricketers Lendl Simmons and Denesh Ramdin announces retirement
West Indiesopening batter,Lendl Simmons, has announced his retirement from international cricket on July 18, 2022.
The 37 year old has played 144 matches, scoring 3763 runs from all formats.
At the same time, former West Indies skipper Denesh Ramdin also announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect on the same day.
Ramdin will however continue to play franchise cricket. He has played 74 Tests, 139 ODIs and 71 T20Is for West Indies.
