West Indies Cricketers Lendl Simmons and Denesh Ramdin announces retirement

  • West Indies opening batter, Lendl Simmons, has announced his retirement from international cricket on July 18, 2022.
  • The 37 year old has played 144 matches, scoring 3763 runs from all formats.
  • At the same time, former West Indies skipper Denesh Ramdin also announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect on the same day.
  • Ramdin will however continue to play franchise cricket. He has played 74 Tests, 139 ODIs and 71 T20Is for West Indies.
