Dr Tehemton E Udwadia, Father of laparoscopic surgery passes away
- Tehemton Erach Udwadia, the famous Indian surgeon and gastroenterologist, who was considered as the Father of Laparoscopic Surgery in India, has passed away.
- He was 88.
- In 2017, Dr. Udwadia was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the country’s third highest civilian award.
