Katalin Kariko and Drew Weissman wins 2023 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine
The Nobel Prize 2023 in Physiology or Medicine has been awarded to Katalin Karikó and Drew Weissman.
The duo have been recognised for “their discoveries concerning nucleoside base modifications that enabled the development of effective mRNA vaccines against COVID-19”
The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine is given by the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden.
