Government has appointed Shri Manoj Kumar as the new Chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
He replaces KVIC’s former Chairman Vinai Kumar Saxena, who has taken charge as the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.
Prior to this, Manoj Kumar was Expert Member (Marketing) at KVIC.
KVIC is a statutory body of the Government of India, incorporated under the Parliament Act, to develop Khadi and other village industries in rural areas.
