Sevilla defeated Roma to lift 2022-23 UEFA Europa League
In football, Sevilla defeated Roma in the final, 4–1, on penalties, following a 1–1 draw after extra time, to win the 2022-23 UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League for a record-extending seventh time.
The final was played at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary on 31 May 2023.
The annual football club competition is organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) since 1971 for eligible European football clubs.
It is the second- topmost competition of European club football, below the UEFA Champions League and above the UEFA Europa Conference League.
