Centre extends existing foreign trade policy (FTP) by six months untill September 2022

  • The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced an extension in the existing Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-20 by another six months till September 30, 2022, to ensure policy continuity in external trade.
  • This is the fourth extension given to the existing FTP policy.

  • However, since a new FTP has been deferred continuously, the existing policy was extended from time to time.
