Nation observes 4th Jan Aushadhi Diwas on March 07, 2022
- The 4th Jan Aushadhi Diwas was organised on March 07, 2022 to generate awareness about the usages of generic medicines and benefits of Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana.
- The theme of Janaushadhi Diwas 2022 is “Jan Aushadhi-Jan Upyogi”.
- The entire week from March 01-07 was observed as ‘Janaushadhi Week’ across the nation.
- The celebrations are organised since 2019 by the Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI), under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals.
- PMBI is the implementing agency of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP).
- The celebrations are held by organizing weeklong celebrations at different locations across the country covering all States/UTs.
- In 2022, the Janaushadhi Week was celebrated as given below:
